Our group is associated with Stony Brook University and Brookhaven National Lab. The projects are highly interdisciplinary and seek to understand, invent, and deploy new optoelectronic applications of graphene. This research, which spans from fundamental questions to applied challenges of implementation and scaling, sits at the intersection of multiple fields, including physics, electrical engineering, materials science, and chemistry. Students and postdoctoral fellows from any of these and related fields are encouraged to apply.
You will be expected to assist in the design, fabrication, characterization, and optimization of graphene-based optoelectronic devices. Project members will have access to world-class facilities at Brookhaven National Laboratory, including the Center for Functional Nanomaterials.
